In primary care rehabilitation, all rehabilitation resources in the public primary care system are gathered. Here, we work as physiotherapists, psychosocial resources, occupational therapists, rehabilitation assistants, and rehabilitation coordinators. Together, we are responsible for the rehabilitation and treatment of physical and mental health issues at the county's public health centers. We are now looking for an engaged and positive occupational therapist for Primary Care Rehabilitation Northwest, covering the health centers in Rottne, Braås, Åseda, and Lenhovda. The position is based at the Dalbo health center. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As an occupational therapist with us, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives and contribute to their health and well-being. By helping patients regain or improve their abilities, whether related to physical or cognitive challenges, occupational therapists empower individuals to live more independent and fulfilling lives. You will work with patients of all ages, from children to the elderly. The most common care needs you will encounter include: • Neurodevelopmental disorders • Burnout and mental health issues • Hand problems • Work-related health issues • Dementia • Pain Your main responsibilities will include: • Assessment and treatment of the most common diagnostic groups. • Collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. • Counseling and support for patients and their relatives. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has a license as an occupational therapist and preferably a few years of experience in primary care. You are a person who is passionate about helping others and has a strong ability to work independently as well as in a team. You are attentive, empathetic, and have a positive attitude. A valid driver's license (category B) is required.
