About the Job Consolida Ajacis was acquired by Indomi Group in 2022. We provide support and treatment (with the help of external partners) in two facilities in Laxå municipality (Laxå & Hasselfors) and offer housing and enhanced support for individuals with substance abuse issues or other addictive behaviors, criminality, and mental health challenges. Our concept is based on a structured daily life with routines, a focus on employment, activities, and mental health – all aimed at ensuring a reasonable standard of living. Qualifications We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in social care, such as a nursing assistant with a focus on psychiatry, treatment and social pedagogy, or behavioral science. You should have computer skills and proficiency in Swedish, with a strong ability to express yourself verbally and in writing. Experience working with the target group is essential, and it is advantageous if you have personal experience of treatment. As a person, you are structured, possess excellent teamwork skills, are relationship-oriented, and have a good ability to engage with individuals in need of support. We also expect you to contribute with commitment and participation. Requirements: - At least three years of work experience in addiction and psychiatry - Ability to work at least two days a week (night shifts with on-call duties may occur) - You have not been convicted or had probationary measures in the last five years Job Responsibilities As a housing support worker, you will perform both social and practical support interventions to empower and assist individuals in managing their daily lives, both within and outside their homes. The primary purpose is to support people with varying issues to the extent that they can independently face and handle everyday life in different situations. The goal is to contribute to a recovery process that can ultimately make housing support unnecessary. This may involve providing support and guidance in carrying out various household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking, as well as assisting with finances and contact with other authorities. It also includes broadening the individual's daily life outside the home by facilitating social interactions. Housing support should be tailored to the individual's changing needs based on an implementation plan. The implementation plan is established in consultation with the individual and is based on the services that have been approved in their housing support decision. The ability to manage documentation is essential. You will collaborate with colleagues, establish and follow up on the implementation plan, maintain contact with relatives, guardians, and participate in care planning and other meetings.
