State Institutions Board (SiS) is a government agency responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for youth with complex psychosocial problems and adults with substance abuse. SiS also implements closed youth care. We do this at youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse, throughout the country. At SiS, your work life will be an exciting challenge. SiS LVM Home Lunden receives women with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse. We accept clients with mental health issues and clients who require medical care. We operate in Lund.
Job Description
Do you want to make a vital difference for vulnerable people? Then the job as a treatment assistant at SiS is a meaningful challenge. The goal of your assignment is to motivate our clients towards new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment assistant, you are employed to provide care and treatment. You contribute to ensuring that department routines function as they should. You play a significant role in the stability and security of our clients, providing the basis for daily life activities such as cleaning, cooking, and more. You help maintain order and security at the institution according to our routines. Documentation is an important part of your work. You will work on building secure relationships and help our clients obtain the security they need to break habitual behaviors. Together with your team of committed colleagues such as treatment pedagogues and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied.

Working hours are according to a schedule of day - evening and weekend or night.
You make yourself available in our booking system (after introduction, theory, and further guidance) and choose when it suits you based on the organization's needs.
Qualifications
Your personal suitability is the key to vital change. Therefore, you need to have a good ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is having a well-established positive view of human beings, great empathetic ability, and a capacity to create good relationships. You have good communication skills and can maintain your composure even in pressured situations. You also have the ability to collaborate with others and are happy to share your knowledge with colleagues.
You should also have:
• At least a 2-year post-secondary education from a folk high school, vocational college (KY/YH), or other equivalent education. The education should be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant subject area.*
• Class B driver's license
• Good Swedish in speech and writing

Employment:
We are seeking several new employees for hourly/as-needed employment.
We will conduct interviews on December 4th. You need to be available either morning or afternoon.
Mandatory introduction will take place on December 17-18 - full days.
