We are seeking a Fiber Supervisor for direct recruitment to our client. About the position: We are currently looking for an experienced Fiber Supervisor for a long-term and high-profile assignment within the Förbifart Stockholm project – one of Sweden's largest infrastructure projects. At our client, you will work on a comprehensive fiber and communications project where the client is responsible for the installation of telecommunication, control, and monitoring systems throughout the tunnel section. In this role, you will have broad responsibility over the entire chain of fiber installations: from planning and work preparation to execution, quality assurance, and final documentation. You will drive progress, optimize resources, and ensure that the correct quality and safety levels are maintained throughout the process. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 16:00. Job description: • Be responsible for progress, planning, and quality within fiber installations in your part of the project. • Lead and distribute work related to cable laying, subducts, fiber pulling, and associated installations. • Monitor daily operations, timelines, and ensure that all tasks meet project requirements. • Coordinate resources, optimize material flows, and ensure that technical documentation is complete and clearly communicated. • Perform quality checks, ensure proper self-inspection, and follow KMA procedures. • Participate in safety rounds, production meetings, and other forums related to safety, quality, and progress. • Document changes, deviations, and daily events. • Be responsible for onboarding personnel within your area of responsibility. • Collaborate closely with site managers, project managers, supervisors, and lead installers. We are looking for someone who has: • A technical education or equivalent experience. • Documented experience in supervisory roles within fiber, electrical, or telecommunications. • Practical experience with fiber installations and a good understanding of site work. • The ability to read and understand technical documentation. • Experience with contracts and infrastructure projects. • Good computer skills. • Fluent Swedish in both spoken and written form, as well as a good understanding of technical English. • A valid driver's license (B). • The ability to lead, communicate clearly, and create good collaborations. • Analytical skills, business-minded thinking, and a strong drive to achieve set goals. Meritorious: • Certifications in fiber technology. • Experience with KMA work in larger contracts.
