About the Position Professionals Nord is now launching this successful program in collaboration with Satellite Group. Through our initiative, we are shaping the next generation of truck technicians. During the introductory period with Satellite Group, you will develop skills to quickly become comfortable with the tasks required in the role of truck technician. You will then be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at Engströms Lastbilar for at least 18 months. The goal is for your employment to transition to Engströms Lastbilar, provided all parties are satisfied with the collaboration. About the Introduction Period Over 12 weeks, you will be introduced to the role of truck technician and develop the skills required to quickly become confident and self-assured. The program is based on the Accelerated Learning method and consists of short theoretical parts combined with hands-on exercises, close mentoring, and concludes with a final project that ties together the learnings. During the introductory period, you will develop skills in truck technology, electricity and electrified vehicles, as well as hydraulics and pneumatics. We offer study support throughout the entire introductory period. As a Truck Technician, you will work on service, troubleshooting, and repairs of trucks, trailers, and other heavy vehicles. You will handle everything from diagnosis and problem-solving to body modifications, damage repairs, and cooling systems. You will primarily work with Scania vehicles and ensure they meet safety and environmental standards. Your workday will be both varied and practical. You will receive work orders, plan and execute work independently as well as in close collaboration with the team. The role also involves customer contact, where you contribute to high customer satisfaction through careful, service-oriented, and quality-focused work.
