Senior Physician - Specialist Physician for Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic, Piteå

General Psychiatry in Piteå is a specialized psychiatric outpatient clinic working in the Piteå Älvdal catchment area, which includes the municipalities of Piteå, Älvsbyn, Arvidsjaur, and Arjeplog. We are a team of around 70 employees at the clinic, providing psychiatric outpatient care with various treatment and assessment interventions for citizens aged 18 and above, striving to deliver good, evidence-based, and patient-centered care. Our clinic includes various professional roles such as psychologists, nurses, physicians, behavioral scientists, specialist doctors, social workers, physiotherapists, rehabilitation coordinators, medical secretaries, and administrators. The Psychiatry Division has initiated a transition to Proximity Care, moving healthcare closer to patients' homes. From October 2024 to June 2025, the clinic conducted an exciting project with a specialized psychiatric nursing team, SPOT, working preventatively to prevent inpatient admissions, reduce full-time care duration, and offer increased patient involvement and timely interventions. In June 2025, the project transitioned to permanent operations, and we continue to develop our services. Are you interested in joining our journey and developing the future of psychiatry?
