Nybergs Svets AB was founded in 1914, making it a forging company with over 100 years of experience. Over the years, we have become known for our solid expertise and strong commitment, from design to completed projects, creating added value for our customers.
Previously part of the Serneke Group, Nybergs Svets became privately owned in March 2023 when it was acquired by Ola Serneke, Patrik Wallin, and Jesper Korpås. Our current goal is to be one of the strongest players in structural contracts with steel as our niche, focusing on large and medium-sized construction companies.
Job Description
We are now seeking a workshop blacksmith for Nybergs Svets in Alingsås. You will manufacture steel structures according to drawings. You will be involved in the entire process from the arrival of the steel at the workshop until it is ready for delivery to the customer. Your work will include manual welding with metal powder-filled wire, cutting, and drilling of materials. You will also perform self-checks and ensure that the products meet the customer's high-quality standards. Working hours are during the day, Monday to Friday.
Qualifications
To fit the role of workshop blacksmith, you need to be a team player who is passionate about maintaining high quality. Furthermore, we expect you to be meticulous, sociable, and a problem solver. Finally, you should be open to developing and streamlining workflows.
Requirements:
• B driver's license
• Workshop experience
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Forklift and overhead crane certification
• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
Meritorious:
• Experience in wire welding
• Experience working with quality systems (preferably EN-1090)
• Welding certification/welding examination certificate
• Crane certification for yard cranes
