About Stegra
Stegra aims to transform the global steel industry by producing green hydrogen, iron, and steel – with the goal of eliminating carbon dioxide emissions. Instead of coal, we use green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity, which means our primary emissions are water and heat.
Our ambition is to produce 5 million tons of green steel annually by 2030 in our fully integrated, digitalized, and sustainable facility in Boden, northern Sweden – which is currently under construction. But this is just the beginning. Our expertise in green hydrogen will enable emissions reductions in other industries and pave the way for a cleaner future.
