Location: Svensk Skogsservice Head Office in Ed
Scope: Full-time (80% administration of equipment/warehouse/clothing, 20% workshop work)
About the position
We are looking for someone who enjoys juggling multiple tasks and wants to combine administrative work with practical elements in the workshop. You will become an important part of the team, acting as the hub between project managers and production regarding equipment, vehicles, and resource management.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that operations run smoothly on a daily basis and contributing your practical skills when needed in the workshop—mainly working with brush cutters and basic mechanical maintenance.
Responsibilities
• Work with the budget related to equipment and vehicles
• Act as a point of contact for project managers regarding equipment, availability, and resource planning
• Manage insurance and complaint matters
• Oversee maintenance, cleaning, and reconditioning of vehicles, trailers, etc.
• Handle orders and inventory management of equipment and clothing
• Contribute to keeping properties and the workshop neat, clean, and well-organized
• Participate in basic workshop tasks (approximately 20%)—for example, maintenance and servicing of saws
• Be available to provide support for forestry assignments when needed
Qualifications
• BE driving license – required
• Good command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Administrative experience and a sense of order
• Hands-on and comfortable in a technical environment
• Experience in vehicle or workshop work is an advantage
• Experience in the forestry industry is a plus
