JOB DESCRIPTION
As a business developer, you will drive, support, and implement development assignments in our transformation journey towards the future of social services. We aim to become more preventive, easily accessible, equitable, and knowledge-based. Are you the one we are looking for?
In this role, you will, among other things:
• Conduct various investigative assignments, analyze, follow up, and evaluate internal and external operations,
• Write reports and prepare decision-making materials,
• Develop and change working methods and approaches,
• Monitor both research and changes in the external environment,
• Disseminate knowledge and plan and implement various training initiatives.
The assignments will be carried out independently and in collaboration with colleagues, being attentive to the needs of the operations to ensure quality and develop the services.
As a business developer, you will work broadly across the entire administration, as well as in cross-organizational assignments as needed. You will drive and support strategic and operational development and implementation work from a process-oriented perspective.
About the workplace
You will belong to the development unit, where our central resources for business development, system management, committee administration, security, and facility management are located. Here, you will work alongside competent and development-oriented colleagues – we are about 20 employees with various competencies and focuses who support each other within the department's area of responsibility.
The Department of Work and Welfare is responsible for areas including individual and family care, labor market and employment, adult education, integration, refugee reception including unaccompanied refugee minors, family law, support for people with disabilities, and budget and debt counseling.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for an engaged business developer who has:
• At least three years of higher education in a relevant field, such as social work, social sciences, or other relevant education deemed equivalent by the employer,
• Good knowledge of process, project, investigation, and/or evaluation methodology.
Experience in strategic development and change work is an advantage.
As a person, you are solution-focused and easily build trust. You possess strong analytical skills and can manage multiple parallel assignments. To succeed in this role, you need to be self-driven, structured, with the ability to plan and organize your work towards deadlines, and be unpretentious in your assignments. The role requires excellent proficiency in Swedish and the ability to communicate and present information and materials to various target groups in both spoken and written forms. Good computer skills are a prerequisite.
