Business Development Manager for the Education Unit

The Education Unit Will Strategically and Long-Term Work with Education Supply and Competence Development for the Entire Authority, and in Close Collaboration with Operations Plan, Develop, Administer, Implement, Follow Up, and Quality Assure Training. The Education Unit Consists of Six Sections, Including a Section Working with Planning and Follow-up and a Section Working with Admissions and Education Production, Plus Four Sections Whose Primary Mission is Implementing the Authority's Common Training for Employees and Managers. The Planning and Follow-up Section is Responsible for Directing and Developing the Authority's Common Training. The Section Maps and Analyzes Training Needs, Assesses and Steers the Training Offering. The Section Also Handles Operational Planning, Budget, Economy, Goal Follow-up, and Conducts Environmental Monitoring. The Education Unit Belongs to the Swedish Prison and Probation Service HR Department. WORK TASKS We Are Seeking a Business Developer for the Planning and Follow-up Section Within the Education Unit. This is a New Position That Will Be Developed Together with the Hired Candidate. You Want to Work with Operational Planning, Management, Follow-up, Environmental Monitoring, and Quality Work. This Includes Developing and Implementing the Authority's Pedagogical Training Strategy. You Will Also Identify Needs for Changed or New Forms of Collaboration, Including Creating and Improving Internal and External Forums. You Will Create Foundations for Developing and Continuously Ensuring Steering of the Training Assignment. Work Tasks Involve Somewhat Independent Work Requiring Planning, Quality Assurance, Follow-up, and Producing Decision Support Reports as Well as Handling Consultation Responses. As a Business Developer, You Are Expected to Adapt to Changing Circumstances and See Opportunities in Changes. We Are Seeking Someone Who Has: • An Academic Degree of at Least 180 ECTS Credits (Equivalent to 3 Years of Higher Education) in Areas Deemed Relevant by the Swedish Prison and Probation Service • Multiple Years of Experience with Analytical and Evaluative Tasks • Experience Working in Government Operations • Worked at Strategic Levels • Worked in Project Groups • Worked at Cross-Organizational Levels Developing Strategies, Processes, and Methods • Excellent Ability and Insight in Process and Project-Oriented Work • Excellent Ability to Structure and Write Reports, Investigations, and Normative/Governing Documents in Government Operations • High Digital Maturity and Experience Using IT as Work Support • Ability to Analyze Data and Statistics • Good Understanding of Work in a Politically Governed Operation • Excellent Ability to Express Yourself Verbally and in Writing in Swedish and English It is Meritorious if You Have: • Education in Statistics, Social Sciences, Political Science, Social and Cultural Analysis • Experience Leading Large Projects and Projects with Multiple Sub-Projects • Experience with Educational and Development Work in a Larger Organization OTHER The Swedish Prison and Probation Service Has Chosen to Remove the Personal Letter and Replace It with
