We are now seeking a business developer who is ready for a challenge and wants to participate in the establishment of a completely new operation with significant societal benefit and high relevance.
Assignment
The Swedish Companies Registration Office has been tasked with establishing a service for coordinated registry control in connection with public procurement, an area of great focus. The assignment aims to strengthen the conditions for contracting organizations to control and exclude unscrupulous suppliers from public procurement.
The new operation and its associated IT support are to be built up and fully implemented by 2028. As a business developer, you will play a key role in this development work from idea to finished service.
You will belong to the supplier control unit, which is responsible for the area, its establishment, and upcoming operations. Currently, there are two other business developers in the area, and the unit is expected to grow with more roles in the coming years.
Your Responsibilities
As a business developer, you are a central link between operational issues, legislation, stakeholders, and IT development. You work closely with lawyers, architects, and security specialists, contributing to translating the business's needs and legal requirements into functional solutions in our IT systems.
You will:
- Actively participate in the development of the service and its associated IT support
- Serve as a link between business and IT in roles such as Product Manager and/or Product Owner
- Collaborate with scrum masters, requirements analysts, developers, and testers in agile teams
- Contribute to investigations and analyses together with the other business developers in the unit
- Participate in cross-functional collaborations with other authorities and actors in public procurement
With us, you will work in an agile development environment inspired by the SAFe framework, using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
We Offer
With us, you will have interesting collaborations and exchanges with other authorities, organizations, and actors in procurement. You will become part of a modern and socially important authority tasked with creating security and transparency in entrepreneurship. Here, you will find developmental work with engaged colleagues, flexible working methods, and good opportunities for development.
We offer health-promoting activities and the possibility to work remotely to some extent based on the needs of the operation. Our offices are located in modern premises centrally by the harbor in Sundsvall.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are now looking for someone who is solution-oriented, analytical, and enjoys thinking outside the box. You are flexible and proactive, wanting to influence the operation. You work in a structured manner and thrive in a complex environment where legislation, technology, and business development intersect. You have the ability to see the big picture while being able to drive your work forward in a stable and goal-oriented manner based on your assignment.
In this role, you need to have:
- An academic degree in a relevant field, e.g., computer science, information technology, or law, or equivalent knowledge/experience that can be assessed as comparable
