About this role
Make a difference. Every day.
Do you want to contribute to the development and strengthening of palliative care in Region Skåne? We are now expanding our team and seeking two new employees for the Palliative Development Center. The employees will work closely together with different main focuses: one on specialized palliative care and the other on general palliative care and our mobile primary care teams.
The area of Mobile Teams and specialized palliative care is divided into five geographical operational areas as well as the Palliative Development Center. Here, specialized palliative care and advanced home care are provided, along with care via our mobile primary care teams, throughout Skåne, in close collaboration with other care providers and municipalities.
The Palliative Development Center is part of Region Skåne, with Lund University as a partner. Here, researchers, doctoral students, operational developers, communication specialists, and statisticians work together to drive research, development, and education in both general and specialized palliative care. Our strength lies in our tripartite mission of research, development, and education, where collaboration between clinical practice and academia is central.
Our overarching goal is that people with life-threatening illnesses receive care of the highest quality, and that research in the field is nationally and internationally recognized. All work at the Palliative Development Center is characterized by curiosity, learning, and knowledge sharing, as well as the strong teamwork and respect for each other's competencies inherent in palliative care. We offer training, courses, seminars, and conferences, and conduct various research and development projects to promote good palliative care for all. Collaboration occurs both within the region and nationally and internationally.
Are you a driven and committed individual with experience in clinical work within specialized palliative care or municipal care, and do you have experience working systematically with quality and development issues? Do you want to contribute to strengthening research, development, and education in palliative care? Then you could be one of our new employees at the Palliative Development Center.
