Do You Want to Help Develop Södertälje Hospital? The Development Department at Södertälje Hospital consists of units for digitalization and e-health, R&D&I (research, education, development, and innovation), medical technology, and patient safety and quality (PSK), which also includes the Clinical Training Center (KTC).
The department is responsible for the hospital's project portfolio and is tasked with strengthening and streamlining work in areas such as business development, change management, and digitalization. This also includes operations and management within medical technology, pharmaceuticals, and management of certain IT systems. The department also has a hospital-wide coordination responsibility for issues related to R&D&I, basic and continuing education, and physicians' BT/ST training. Approximately 40 employees work within the development department.
Business Developer for Hospital-Wide Patient Safety and Quality at Södertälje Hospital:
We are strengthening the team working hospital-wide to provide safe and high-quality care with increased patient involvement. Do you want to help develop Södertälje Hospital as our new committed business developer? If you are passionate about development, patient safety, and strengthening the patient's role as a co-creator in healthcare, this is the assignment for you.
You will support hospital-wide patient safety and quality work in close collaboration with the chief physician and chief nurse. You will drive and develop the hospital's work on patient involvement in both development work and clinical everyday life. You will also be responsible for patient guidance and case management regarding feedback and complaints. The assignment includes coordinating and in some cases leading risk and incident analyses and investigations, following up on measures, and analyzing work at the hospital-wide level. This also involves leading and participating in hospital-wide projects related to patient safety and quality, as well as planning and conducting training for managers and key personnel in the patient safety area. Some clinical service is included in the position.
You will report assignments to the chief physician and chief nurse.

The role requires excellent collaboration skills with various professions and a developed empathetic ability for professional interaction with patients and their relatives.
You enjoy working independently and leading processes. You have good communication skills, are structured, analytical, and enjoy working in teams.
Your Qualifications:
Requirements:
We are seeking a licensed nurse or someone with other relevant higher education and at least five years of clinical work experience. You have good knowledge and experience in leading patient safety and quality work, including work with deviations. You have documented training and experience in leading incident and risk analyses and experience in driving projects. Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
Meritorious:
Good knowledge of laws and guidelines, education in patient safety and improvement work, and project management are meritorious. Higher academic education in healthcare is also meritorious.
