JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking someone who wants to lead and develop Lessebo Municipality's work on social sustainability, primarily in the areas of participation and safety. You will work to coordinate and broadly drive the municipality's efforts in these areas.
This work includes developing an internal network within the municipality and maintaining ongoing contact and coordination with civil society.
As a business developer, you will also work on investigating, evaluating, and supporting the implementation of governance documents related to social sustainability.
Your main tasks will include:
- Project management for the model municipality initiative for disability policy (funds from the Agency for Participation): Coordinate overall work for the municipality, especially for the focus area of Active Leisure. Most of your time is expected to be dedicated to these tasks.
- Coordinate the municipality's local crime prevention work: Prepare underlying documents and status reports, coordinate with various actors inside and outside the municipality, participate in networks, organize meetings, etc.
- Coordinate the municipality's work in children's rights, gender equality, public health, and participation, developing and following up on the municipality's work and acting as support for departments and follow-up.
The position is located in the municipal executive administration and will be part of the administrative department.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking candidates with a social science university degree or another university degree that the employer deems equivalent. You should have experience with similar tasks, such as project management. Knowledge and previous experience in disability policy are particularly meritorious, as a significant portion of the position will consist of these tasks. Experience in the non-profit sector is also considered advantageous.
As a person, you are attentive and work well with others. You communicate constructively and clearly. You enjoy networking and have the ability to create contacts both internally within the municipality and externally with civil society. You take responsibility for your tasks and drive the processes you are responsible for from start to finish in a structured manner. We are looking for someone creative and development-driven, with an interest in social sustainability, particularly in the areas of participation and safety.
Excellent Swedish language skills in both spoken and written form are necessary for the position, as you will handle much information, write and analyze, and develop your own materials and texts.

This is a project-based position and will be filled subject to Lessebo Municipality being granted funds from the Agency for Participation.
