The Preparedness and Sector Responsibility area (LASE) is seeking a Business Developer with a focus on geographical preparedness. This area provides strategic and tactical support to Försäkringskassan concerning continuity and preparedness. The responsibilities include coordinating, managing, and monitoring the agency's ability to withstand disruptions, handling serious peacetime crisis situations, and fulfilling its duties during heightened preparedness.
Preparedness issues, sector responsibility, development
The area also includes the coordination for the preparedness sector of Economic Security (Regulation 2022:524 on the preparedness of state agencies), where Försäkringskassan is the sector-responsible authority. This means the agency has an expanded responsibility to strengthen coordination between several authorities within the sector and the County Administrative Boards ahead of and during peacetime crises, heightened preparedness, and war.
In the role of Business Developer, you will primarily focus on Försäkringskassan's continuity and preparedness work, where you will work with the coordination, planning, and development of the agency's preparedness-enhancing measures. You will support and coordinate Försäkringskassan's geographical preparedness efforts.
This may involve, for example:
• Supporting the agency's office managers in continuity and preparedness issues
• Collaborating with County Administrative Boards and civil areas, as well as authorities within the economic security sector and other relevant stakeholders in total defense
• Having good knowledge of the offices and operations conducted within your assigned civil areas, as well as the prerequisites required for the agency's work to be carried out
• Cooperating and building capacity with other business development colleagues focused on the same area and other stakeholders at Försäkringskassan.
You will work in consultation with the agency's security advisors and be part of the national and regional preparedness system. You are engaged, keep abreast of developments, and wish to contribute to the collective efforts within the agency. Initially, your work will be characterized by building up resources, and it will be important to continuously evaluate various initiatives and disseminate learning. The role will involve travel within Sweden.
The position entails handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that those who work with us have a strong security awareness.

We are looking for individuals who:
• Hold a degree from a university or equivalent experiences
• Have experience working in crisis and preparedness
• Are capable of working independently with a good ability to take initiative
• Have a strong ability to build contacts and collaborate
• Are structured and possess strong analytical skills
• Have effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Are creative and can translate knowledge and experiences into action and drive your assignments forward.
It is advantageous if you:
• Have similar experience as sought from a larger organization, preferably from a government agency
• Have solid experience in business development
• Have additional formal education in security, continuity, or preparedness
• Have good knowledge of Försäkringskassan's organization, management processes, and missions.
