The Department of Preparedness and Sector Responsibility (LASE) is seeking a Business Developer with a focus on geographic preparedness. This area provides strategic and tactical support for Försäkringskassan in matters of continuity and preparedness. Responsibilities include coordinating, managing, and following up on the agency's ability to withstand disruptions, handle serious peacetime crisis situations, and perform its duties during heightened preparedness. Preparedness issues, sector responsibility, development This area also includes the coordination for the preparedness sector of Economic Security (Regulation 2022:524 on the preparedness of state agencies), where Försäkringskassan is the sector-responsible authority. This means that the agency has an expanded responsibility to strengthen the coordination among several agencies within the sector and the County Administrative Boards during peacetime crises, heightened preparedness, and war. In the role of Business Developer, you will primarily focus on Försäkringskassan's continuity and preparedness work, where you will be involved in coordination, planning, and the development of the agency's preparedness-enhancing measures. You will support and coordinate Försäkringskassan's geographic preparedness efforts. This may include, for example: • Supporting the agency's office managers regarding continuity and preparedness issues • Collaborating with County Administrative Boards and civil areas, as well as agencies within the economic security sector and other relevant actors in civil defense • Having a good understanding of the offices and operations carried out within your assigned civil areas, as well as the prerequisites necessary for the agency's work to be executed • Collaborating and building capacity with other business development colleagues with similar focuses and other stakeholders within Försäkringskassan. You will work in consultation with the agency's security advisors and be part of the national and regional preparedness system. You are engaged and monitor external developments, and you wish to contribute to the collective efforts within the agency. Initially, your work will be characterized by building structure, and it will be important to continuously evaluate various initiatives and share lessons learned. The role involves travel within Sweden. The position requires handling confidential information, which imposes high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is essential that you, as a potential employee, have a strong awareness of security. This is a job for you who want to take on responsibility. We are looking for someone who: • Holds a degree from a university or university college, or equivalent experience • Has experience working in crisis and preparedness • Has the ability to work independently with good initiative • Can establish contacts and collaborate effectively • Is structured and possesses strong analytical skills • Has good communication skills, both verbally and in writing • Is creative and can translate knowledge and experience into action and drive your assignments forward. It is advantageous if you: • Have similar experience sought from a larger organization, preferably from a government agency • Have substantial experience in business development • Have additional formal education in safety, continuity, or preparedness • Have a good understanding of Försäkringskassan’s organization, management processes, and assignments. We place great importance on your personal qualities. Other information This is a permanent, full-time position, with a start date by agreement. A probationary period may be applicable.
