Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan) makes 21 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. We disburse approximately 260 billion kronor each year. It is everyone’s tax money that we manage. This is a significant responsibility. Therefore, we thoroughly examine each case, adhere to laws and regulations, provide information and guidance, care, and show consideration. This is a job for those who want to take responsibility. Welcome to Försäkringskassan.
Försäkringskassan has a crucial societal mission. We develop our case management with a focus on individuals' varying needs and circumstances. The FV department provides financial security to individuals with disabilities by deciding on and disbursing, among other things, care allowances, additional cost compensation, vehicle support, disability allowances, close relative benefits, and infection carrier benefits.
