Central Child Health Care Unit Child health care in Gotland is available at health centers in Visby, Slite, and Hemse. The child health centers belong to a separate organization within primary care. We oversee child health care across the entire island, with some flexibility between locations. The Central Child Health Care Team (CBHV) is tasked with developing and ensuring the quality of child health care in the region. This is done through monitoring and following up on children's health and development, also from a public health perspective, as well as ensuring access, assignments, and methods within child health care. In the team, you will be working as a coordinating nurse alongside a child health care consultant physician and a psychologist specializing in child health care and maternal health care. We are looking for someone who wants to work as a development-oriented nurse in the Central Child Health Care Team at 50% capacity. Your Responsibilities As a development-oriented nurse in CBHV, you will provide support to managers and staff at the child health care centers and be available for both psychosocial and medical inquiries. A significant part of your work will involve staying updated through environmental monitoring to disseminate important information and conduct training initiatives. Your role will include some project management and implementation of guidelines and knowledge support within child health care in Gotland. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders and authorities both regionally and nationally. To achieve equitable child health and child health care, as well as to have an impact, the CBHV team participates in relevant networks and working groups. Who Are You? We are looking for a licensed nurse with further education as a district nurse or a specialist-trained pediatric nurse. Experience in child health care and development work is advantageous, as is training in Motivational Interviewing (MI). A valid driver's license (B) is required. We see that you have a strong commitment to good and equitable child health, excellent collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently. You thrive in interdisciplinary teamwork and are eager to lead development work and teaching. Personal suitability is of great importance.
