The Swedish Companies Registration Office is strengthening its crime prevention efforts and is now seeking an experienced business developer for our crime prevention department. Here, you will have the opportunity to participate in building an operation that evolves from focusing on service and simplification to also encompass control and preventive measures in collaboration with other authorities in the field.
Our mission
The Control Unit 1 is responsible for analysis and collaboration at both a strategic and tactical level within the Swedish Companies Registration Office's crime prevention work. Together with other authorities and public actors, we strive to prevent companies from being used in economic crime.
The unit’s responsibilities also include driving and participating in joint cooperation tasks assigned to the Swedish Companies Registration Office and other authorities, as well as leading and driving development work internally within the authority's crime prevention efforts.
Job Duties
As a business developer with us, you will:
- Participate in and drive external collaboration assignments with other authorities and actors in crime prevention work.
- Participate in and drive governmental assignments assigned to the Swedish Companies Registration Office, as well as be involved in governmental assignments managed by other authorities.
- Drive internal assignments to develop the authority's operations within the crime prevention area.
- Collaborate with other departments within the Swedish Companies Registration Office.
- Lead development assignments as needed for changes in work processes and IT systems.
- Work practically with business development activities, investigations, and analyses.
- Coordinate activities, monitor status, and drive the work forward.
- Analyze and translate business needs and requirements into solutions or improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are motivated by contributing to social benefit and wish to be part of important developmental work in an authority undergoing change, where you can provide your experiences, new knowledge, and perspectives.
For this role, you need to have:
• An academic degree in a relevant field for the organization (for example, law, economics/auditing, criminology, security) or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways.
• Several years of experience leading large assignments or projects.
• Experience with control operations within government or the public sector.
• Experience in developing working methods and leading change work.
• Experience working closely with development teams, for example, as a product owner.
• Experience with agile working methods.
• Experience and a good ability to communicate clearly, pedagogically, and appropriately for the audience.
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
It is considered advantageous if you additionally have:
• Experience in structured risk management.
• Experience working based on changing legal requirements and legal assessments.
