Your role Working as operational support means that you are responsible for following a wheelchair-bound child in the group. You should always be present, both in play and in all routines of the preschool. Your tasks will include lifting and supporting the child in all movements, during diaper changes, and while dressing. You will be part of a work team where you will closely collaborate with other educators in the department, but you will primarily follow one child. This includes being active and participating in: - Supporting the child in communication and social interaction, including through TAKK/support signs and visual aids. - Meeting the child's physical needs, which you are well acquainted with. - Daily contact with guardians, where you are engaged, child-focused, and service-oriented. Together with other colleagues at the preschool, you contribute to creating a positive, meaningful, and developmental environment for each child and the entire group of children. We are looking for We are seeking an operational support for a fixed-term position at Mariedal Preschool in the Hornsberg preschool unit. You have: - A childcare education through a high school program focused on children and youth or another education deemed equivalent by the employer. - Experience working as operational support/with children in need of support in preschool. - Knowledge of TAKK or sign language. Your strong language skills and your way of communicating in a solution-focused manner. Your ability to independently and playfully lead a group of children.
