Operations Manager for Group Residential Home (LSS Accommodation)

Description We are seeking you who want an exciting and varied assignment as Operations Manager at Bladvägen 2 in Blåsut. The operation is a group housing facility under LSS 9:9, where we support six users with varying functional impairments. Work Tasks In the role of Operations Manager, you have a leadership function where you are expected to lead and distribute daily work in the operation. In the role, you alternate between user-oriented work where you provide support to users in everyday life and administrative work where you are responsible for planning the operation in a way that gives your employees the conditions to carry out work with good quality and with users in focus. In dialogue with the unit manager, you also plan the pedagogical content of the operation. You act as the unit manager's extended arm, maintaining continuous contact regarding the operation's planning, goals, and development. Together with support assistants, support pedagogues, and unit manager, you will work according to the goals and guidelines applicable to the operation, as well as guide and support your employees in methodological work and approach. You will work with documentation, competence, and development issues. You will participate in forums with other operations managers, where you receive support and guidance in your role. The work may also include work with other units and/or development work within the department. Qualifications We are seeking candidates with a degree from the social pedagogical program, social care line/program, or other higher education that the employer deems equivalent. It is important that you can recognize individual needs. You are flexible and attentive and have the ability to work both independently and in a group. To succeed in the assignment, you should be structured and have a good ability to plan, organize, and follow up. The assignment includes being able to collaborate with relatives, guardians, trustees, and other important persons/professionals around the individual. You should be able to make decisions based on the operation's and individuals' needs and be communicative with colleagues and managers about the decisions made. You should have the ability to reflect on yourself and your work in relation to the assignment and be a good support to your colleagues in this. Additionally, you should have personal maturity, be stable, clear, and have self-awareness. Experience working with and knowledge of individuals with intellectual disabilities is a requirement. Knowledge and experience with clarifying pedagogy is meritorious, as is previous work with leadership assignments and change processes. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. A B driver's license with manual transmission is required. Conditions Scheduled working hours will occur.
