Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated healthcare centers, 4 emergency centers, Finspång Care Center, child healthcare unit, 1177, and general medical training center.

Kungsgatan Healthcare Center is part of Primary Care Center (PVC) in Region Östergötland and is centrally located in Linköping near the central station. Our operations include physician consultations, child healthcare, counseling services, dietitian services, rehabilitation coordination, district nurse and nurse consultations, nursing assistant consultations, and medical podiatry. We have approximately 50 employees and around 13,000 registered patients.

Job Description
As the Operations Manager, you will lead, plan, and develop the operations. You will be responsible for budget, personnel, work environment, patient safety, and medical quality at Kungsgatan Healthcare Center. Your role is valuable as you work with employees to translate organizational goals into daily work, focusing on developing and improving operations.
As Operations Manager, you will also contribute to the collective development of primary care within Region Östergötland. At Region Östergötland, you can continue to develop as a manager and leader. We offer leadership development programs for managers at various levels that provide knowledge, tools, and courage to grow in a leadership role. As a manager, you also have the opportunity to spend a certain percentage of your position in your core healthcare profession.
Work Team
We are approximately 50 employees with high competence, with staff having both extensive experience and newer professionals in primary care - a great mix that contributes to quality and good development. Our goal is for all employees to enjoy work, believing that job satisfaction is reflected in patient interactions. Our ambition is to offer patients care of the highest possible quality. We have Läkare Teleq, emergency team, and physician inquiry function.
About You
We seek someone with a university degree and several years of leadership experience in healthcare. Experience in primary care is advantageous, and familiarity with the requirements and challenges facing healthcare centers is preferred. Excellent Swedish language skills in speaking and writing are required.
You have a strong ability to lead change, inspire, and make wise decisions that contribute to achieving common goals. As a leader, you motivate employees, create engagement, and promote participation to drive operations forward. You are calm, stable, and controlled in your work - even when the pace is high or conditions change in both management and development processes.
Additionally, you collaborate well with others, listen and communicate sensitively and clearly, while being able to understand different perspectives. As Operations Manager, you see the big picture and consider broader perspectives. You understand your role while prioritizing the entire operation's best interests in actions and decisions. You propose new ideas and working methods in work-related matters and contribute innovative thinking that leads to results.
In summary, we seek someone who employs situational leadership that considers a competent and independent work group.
