About this role
We are a force that connects, holds together, and develops the county. Within Region Västernorrland, we are all part of something larger.
Region Västernorrland is one of the county’s largest employers with approximately 6,500 employees. Together, we work to develop the region, as well as healthcare and dental care. Here, you have the chance to make a difference for the residents in a county that offers both activity and relaxation.
In Region Västernorrland, there are three primary care areas: south, west, and north, where local collaboration occurs within/among municipalities, primary care, and specialized care. Together, we strive to create a cohesive healthcare chain for the growing patient groups of those with chronic and multiple conditions.
We are now looking for someone who is eager to lead Primary Care in the Northern Primary Care Area as a manager. This area includes the regionally managed health centers Ankaret, Själevad, Domsjö, Bjästa, Bredbyn, and Husum. The operation has around 200 employees, including six unit managers. The mission of primary care is to provide high-quality healthcare for residents on equal terms, without limitations regarding illness, age, or patient groups, and that does not require the specialized competencies of a hospital or fall under municipal healthcare.
In primary care, resource allocation is based on the Mission of Primary Care for the Care Choice of Västernorrland.
This position is a permanent employment in the core profession, while the managerial role is time-limited according to the Region's leadership policy. As a manager in Region Västernorrland, you represent the employer and exercise leadership grounded in good self-awareness, characterized by honesty, openness, accountability, and personal courage. The start date is to be agreed upon.
