Are you Alby Health Center's next manager and leader?
As our current operations manager is retiring, we are looking for a new leader to take the helm of the health center.
Here, 30 employees work together to provide good and accessible care for approximately 8,500 registered patients.
We work daily to develop our operations based on the thoughts and suggestions of both patients and employees, as well as the directives from the region. We drive improvement initiatives initiated by employees to create more efficient care processes, more person-centered and accessible care, and a sustainable work environment. We actively engage in health promotion efforts, including a specific assignment from the Health and Medical Care Administration.
Alby Health Center provides standard health center services, including home care. We have our own laboratory and medical foot care services.
Our facility is located in Alby Center, close to the subway. The area has a diverse population, including seniors, young adults, and families with children.

As the operations manager, you will have overall responsibility for the entire unit, including finance, personnel, environment, and working conditions.
You will be part of a management team alongside other operations managers in the area and participate in a networking forum with nearby healthcare providers. You will have support in your daily work and collaborate closely with the local finance officer and HR consultant.
As a new manager, you will participate in an introduction program and be offered a mentor. Within SLSO, there are various career paths available.
About you:
You have an academic background in health and medical care. You have experience in primary care and its care agreements. Documented experience in managerial and leadership roles is an advantage.
As a leader, you are attentive, communicative, clear, and decisive. You have the ability to create an open work environment that fosters participation and engagement among your employees and is essential for developing the operations together with staff, patients, and relatives. You are present, engaged, and see the bigger picture. Previous experience in developing and implementing new working methods is a plus. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Employment type:
Permanent position, full-time in your professional role, and a fixed-term appointment as operations manager for three years, which may be extended thereafter.

For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Health Care Area:
- A background check will be conducted before a hiring decision according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
- In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language at a level equivalent to C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
