About this role

We are now seeking an operations manager for Unika LSS, where we look forward to welcoming a new colleague and operations manager for two of our residential group homes in southern Stockholm. The group homes offer specialized support and services for individuals belonging to category 1 under LSS. The operations aim to provide a safe and supportive environment where each individual can develop and live an independent life with the necessary support. Great emphasis is placed on quality, security, and living life on one's own terms while also having the opportunity for joy and community with others in the home. The operations are conducted in a contracting format. **About the role of Operations Manager** As an operations manager, you will lead the work in the LSS unit, responsible for daily operations and business planning. You will provide employees with the best conditions to contribute to high-quality care and support services. With responsibility for staff, finance, and quality, you will monitor the goals of the operations and contribute to systematic quality work. Furthermore, you will have occupational health and safety responsibility and be the license holder for your unit. You will be part of a team with other operations managers, support resources, a regional manager, and the CEO. You will sit on the operational management group in the market area and report to the regional manager. **Main responsibilities:** - Ensure daily operational management, staff, and scheduling. - Conduct systematic quality and operational development. - Ensure compliance with agreements, assignments, and regulations. - Maintain ongoing contact with users, employees, and relatives. - Manage finances and budgets related to the operations. - Ensure occupancy levels in accordance with the budget and set goals. - Collaborate with support functions within the group. **Who are you?** Your educational background must meet the formal requirements necessary to be a license holder for an LSS operation. You are a confident leader with prior experience working with the target group of adults within LSS. As a leader, you are brave, straightforward, and clear in your communication, and you enjoy working closely with the operations. To succeed in this role, you need to have a flexible approach and be able to adapt to changes in daily work. You apply a coaching, solution-focused work style and work towards set goals. Additionally, you have an understanding of and knowledge in finance and can follow up and analyze the operations’ results. **Qualifications:** - University education such as a social worker, behavioral scientist, or other equivalent education, according to the requirements from the Health and Social Care Inspectorate (IVO). - Training in social law of at least 7.5 ECTS (if not a trained social worker). - Previous experience working in LSS residential facilities 9:9. - Management experience. - Experience with budget work and financial analysis. - Very good proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. - B driver's license. It is an advantage if you additionally have: - Training in methodologies for social work, such as clear pedagogics. - Experience from work in private care operations. - Experience in leading operations in development and change. - Worked in a larger organization and/or a company in strong growth. **Location** The majority of your working hours will be spent in the operations to facilitate close leadership.
