Your Future Workplace
As the Head of IFO, you will have overall responsibility for operations, finance, work environment, and personnel within your area. You will lead three competent unit managers and approximately 50 dedicated employees. Together, you will create a safe and high-quality operation in line with political goals and the new Social Services Act.
You will be part of the management team of the social administration and work closely with fellow managers to drive strategic development. The Head of IFO reports to the Social Director.
In this role, you will have significant opportunities to influence and develop the operations both strategically and operationally. In addition to a strong focus on implementing the new Social Services Act, we are facing an exciting move to modern and purpose-built premises - a perfect opportunity to put your mark on the future work environment.
The social administration also includes Support for Functionality and Labor Market as well as Elderly Care, with approximately 600 employees and a budget of 490 million SEK.
Your Role
* Lead and develop operations with a focus on quality, sustainability, and efficiency.
* Be responsible for finance, personnel, and work environment.
* Drive change initiatives and improvement processes.
* Promote collaboration internally and externally.
* Be an active part of strategic development work and environmental monitoring.
* Act as the crisis support manager (previously POSOM).
We Are Looking For You Who
* Has a relevant university degree and experience in a leadership position within a politically governed organization.
* Has experience from IFO and authority exercise under the Social Services Act (SoL).
* Is a confident, courageous, and communicative leader with a holistic perspective.
* Has a documented ability to lead both strategically and operationally.
* Is accustomed to budget responsibility and quality monitoring.
* Is passionate about development and sees opportunities in change.
