The IFO office is conveniently located near services and transportation in Charlottenberg. JOB DESCRIPTION The main responsibilities include leading and developing the operations with a focus on leadership, efficiency, quality, and finance. The management responsibility encompasses social workers, LSS caseworkers, assistance assessment, and an open care team with therapists, all organized into two units led by unit managers; one for children and one for adults. The work is characterized by putting the citizen in focus, within the framework of the Social Services Act and other regulations. High demands are placed on collaboration both within the municipality's various operations and with external actors. You will report directly to the municipal chief and be part of the municipal chief's management group. This group decides on overarching strategies for governance, development, and collaboration. The management group also serves as a natural network with other managers within the municipality, providing inspiration and support. Politically, the social committee is responsible for IFO as well as care and support. QUALIFICATIONS A degree in social work or another higher education or experience deemed equivalent by the employer. Experience in the field of social services is desirable. Previous experience in a leadership position within municipal operations is an advantage. The leadership role requires clarity, responsiveness, long-term thinking, as well as strategic and goal-oriented work. The ability to create engagement and enthusiasm within the organization is therefore essential, as is the ability to be communicative and unpretentious. We also highly value your ability to create a good working environment. A driver's license is required.
