WORKPLACE We are seeking a driven operations manager for our nursing organization within the individual and care department in Hagfors municipality. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Our upcoming operations manager will lead the organization consisting of the municipality's nurses and district nurses. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the MAS/operations manager for HSL, MAR, and operations managers for adjacent areas. Within the individual and care department, the areas of responsibility also include the labor market unit, home care, individual and family care, integration, LSS/social psychiatry, rehabilitation services, as well as special housing and short-term care. As the operations manager within the individual and care department, you report directly to the social manager and are part of the department's management team along with other operations managers, a business strategist, and an administrator. As the operations manager, you actively participate in the management work for the entire department and have overall responsibility for your specific area’s results, finances, personnel, and work environment. Your work includes creating conditions for the operations by leveraging developments in digitalization and welfare technology. In the role of operations manager, you are responsible for leading the operations and designing, implementing, and following up on the organization's goals in accordance with legal requirements and regulations. You engage in improvement work, conduct analyses, and work with ongoing systematic quality management. You contribute to a culture and work environment where employees' knowledge and experiences are effectively utilized to create benefits for residents through a person-centered approach. Collaboration within the individual and care department, internally in the municipality, and with other relevant stakeholders is an important part of your work. There is a support structure in place through our team-based working method. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse or has another relevant higher education qualification. Leadership training, experience in leading operations within care and support, and strategic work with operational systems for care and support are considered advantageous. As a person, you are confident and social, with an ease in building good relationships and collaborating both internally and externally. You thrive in a close leadership role, working through others. You have an interest and ability to lead change, harness employees' innovative thinking, and contribute to an open climate. You have experience working with data-driven and systematic quality management. You are skilled in communication, providing and receiving feedback that motivates your employees and colleagues in their daily work. We seek someone with a value foundation focused on the individual to uphold integrity, participation, and the individual's own resources. For this role, it is essential to have a good ability to see the bigger picture, prioritize, and delegate. You are strategic and driven with a goal- and result-oriented approach. You possess a strong ability to make decisions and implement them in the organization. You have prior experience of how a politically governed organization operates, as well as responsibility for personnel, work environment, and budget. Personal suitability is of great importance.
