Reningsborg is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a sustainable society; socially, economically, and environmentally. Reningsborg currently operates six secondhand stores, as well as social enterprises and meeting places where we also offer individualized work training. We have extensive programs for children, youth, and families in Gothenburg, and we also support aid projects both in Gothenburg and abroad.
Reningsborg is now at an exciting stage in planning the launch of Daily Activities within the organization. The Daily Activities will be integrated into Reningsborg's secondhand operations, which have been offering tailored work-related activities and work-integrating initiatives for several decades. Reningsborg secondhand in Frölunda consists of several different departments (café, furniture workshop, sorting, transport, store design, textile workshop, etc.) where participants have the opportunity to try, develop, and utilize their skills in meaningful contexts. In all these operational areas, staff and routines are in place to significantly adapt tasks and the work environment according to individual abilities and challenges. Participants in the daily activities, like those in work training, will be integrated into the work community.
Your Role
We are now seeking someone with knowledge and experience in leading Daily Activities who sees the potential to develop the operations into an integrated part of our existing secondhand store in Frölunda. As the person responsible for Daily Activities, you will be the main leader in the startup and development of the operations. In addition to organizing and leading the daily activities, you will also be involved in the day-to-day work. At Reningsborg, we value inclusion in a shared work community. The work will be carried out in close collaboration with the operations manager and team leaders within the secondhand business.
Examples of Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for developing and managing daily activities at Reningsborg.
- Ensure that the daily activities comply with applicable laws and regulations regarding LSS, including documentation, systematic quality work, etc.
- Be part of the work community in practical tasks related to running the secondhand store.
- Actively collaborate with Reningsborg's other operations.
- Maintain and create good dialogue with placing municipalities and other partners, among other things, to ensure good occupancy.
- Contribute to and ensure that a good and safe work environment is maintained.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a degree in social work or another qualification deemed equivalent.
- Has documented experience as a manager with personnel responsibility within LSS. Previous experience in leading Daily Activities is an advantage.
- Has good knowledge of legislation and guidelines in the field.
- Has the ability and motivation to independently drive your work forward in a flexible and dynamic organization.
- Is a relationship builder with the ability and willingness to work inclusively while being clear and confident in your leadership role.
- Is structured and capable of handling administrative tasks and digital tools.
- Shares our values, which include an inclusive approach, and shares our commitment to a sustainable society.
- Has a good and professional demeanor and strong ability to collaborate with others both internally and externally.
- Has good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
