About this role

About the Role

As a Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for driving and coordinating the company’s approval processes for our vehicles. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all requirements, regulations, and standards are met.

The work is broad and involves many contact points within production, design, and product management, as well as dialogue with authorities and approval partners in several countries. You will be the cohesive force in the process, from requirement specification to final approval.

Your Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in internal validations, managing verification processes and documentation.
  • Participate in approval processes for road and rail vehicles.
  • Establish and develop the company’s relationships with international authorities and partners.
  • Continuously monitor and report changes in laws, EU directives, and standards.
  • Support product development and bidding processes with a focus on approval issues.
  • Write technical reports and compile documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education as an engineer or equivalent, along with work experience in the railway industry or the automotive industry (automotive, special vehicles, trucks, construction or forestry machinery). To succeed in this role, you need to have a strong understanding of standards and national regulations in railway, automotive, or related fields. Previous experience with certification or compliance issues, or with the development/design of special vehicles, is highly advantageous.

Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is required for this role.

As a person, you are detail-oriented, analytical, and thrive in a role where technology meets bureaucracy. You have a good ability to interpret and translate regulations into practical requirements while being a communicative team player who enjoys many contact points.
