The Guardianship Unit is part of the Municipal Director's office, and we are responsible for investigating the need for guardianship or custodianship and recruiting and training guardians. Additionally, we are a supervisory authority that oversees guardians and custodians. Our unit consists of 21 employees from various professional backgrounds such as guardianship administrators, lawyers, case managers, economists, board secretaries, and unit managers. Our office is centrally located in Norrköping, with excellent public transportation access. We are a cheerful team that cares for each other and our work environment. Your Responsibilities As a Guardianship Administrator, you will handle, investigate, and supervise cases related to guardianship and custodianship according to current legislation. You will make decisions in cases and perform administrative tasks. You'll be offered a varied role with multiple points of contact. You'll be responsible for initiating and managing new cases, communicating with guardians and custodians. You'll also interact with authorities, courts, and administrations involved in our unit's supervision. You'll work in a team where experiences are shared and cases are discussed. When needed, you'll consult with legal colleagues to resolve more complex matters. You have a university degree in law, behavioral science, economics, or a comparable field, or are currently pursuing such education. We prefer candidates with experience in administrative work and supervision. As a person, you have a positive approach that is reflected in your collaboration with others. You are receptive to different perspectives and share knowledge and information with your partners. You are an excellent communicator who adapts your language to your audience. You are skilled at organizing your work, prioritizing tasks efficiently based on urgency and importance. You enjoy working independently. When needed, you follow up, consult colleagues, and ensure progress in your processes. Furthermore, you have a good ability to synthesize information and make well-judged decisions. The position requires excellent Swedish communication skills, both verbal and written.
