About this role
About Us
Do you want to lead and develop one of Sweden's most magical destinations? A fairy tale role is available!
Sagolandet Tomteland, located at Gesundaberget near Mora, is seeking a business and market-oriented CEO who wants to lead our operations into the next phase of growth and development. You will become a key person in our journey to build Sweden and the Nordic region's largest fantasy park – where children and adults can experience magical worlds, imaginative characters, and enchanting experiences year-round.
About the Company
Sagolandet Tomteland is a unique 18-hectare destination that combines theater, music, and interactive experiences where children and adults become heroes in the story. Since 2018, Tomteland has been operated and developed by the Collett family through Se Bra Invest AB. Under their leadership, the business has grown significantly, with multiple actors and artists, new story worlds, and increasing audience numbers.
We are on an exciting growth and development journey and have established a long-term strategy to build Sweden and the Nordic region's largest fantasy park. Today, the park experience is far from the original, narrow Christmas theme. Instead, a broad fantasy concept has been established that works year-round. Santa remains the focus during winter, but the rest of the year, the park's magical worlds are filled with hundreds of fairy tale characters like dragons, elves, and trolls.
Our vision is to continue expansion and become a world-class year-round destination for fantasy, play, and experiences!
Your Responsibilities
As CEO, you will lead the operations with a focus on growth, profitability, and sustainable development.

You are a natural relationship builder who creates strong collaborations within the tourism industry – locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally. Through effective communication, brand-building activities, and responsibility for guest experiences, you will strengthen the company's market position. With inspiring leadership, you will coach the team to reach its full potential and build a workplace where commitment and ambition go hand in hand. Together with the board led by an external chairman, you will drive strategic and long-term work to take the business to the next level.
Your Profile
You are a business-driven and strategic leader with documented experience in leading operations with personnel and budget responsibilities. With a strong focus on growth, you combine analytical thinking with creative problem-solving and a passion for customer experiences, making you a natural driving force in the organization.
You are accustomed to working both operationally and strategically, driving change, and developing an entrepreneurial culture while leading your team toward common goals. By building trust and engagement, you inspire both employees and partners. With good insight into market trends, customer behaviors, and digital sales channels, you make decisions that drive the business forward in a dynamic and changing environment.
You have a background in marketing, sales, and business development – preferably from the tourism or experience industry. A relevant academic education in marketing is also meritorious.
