We have addressed the significant renovation needs in our portfolio and have begun a comprehensive renovation project. The goal is to create sustainable and high-quality housing and residential areas that stand the test of time, where our tenants both thrive and feel safe. At the same time, we want to develop the property portfolio, which currently consists primarily of apartments from the Million Programme.

Assignment
As CEO, you will lead and develop the business based on current ownership directives and focus areas. This includes results, budget, and personnel responsibility for the company's approximately 130 employees, whom you will lead through your management team. The focus will include continuing to drive the company's renovation project, which covers half of the housing portfolio, and developing and working further on sustainability and safety issues. You will have a holistic perspective and maintain a close and unpretentious collaboration with the municipality in several areas. As CEO, you will report to the company's board and be part of the municipal director's management team and other relevant forums working on municipal development.
Qualifications
You have a strong commitment to developing operations within public housing based on business principles. You have comprehensive knowledge of the property and housing sector or related industries, with solid expertise in property economics and business development, with documented good results. You combine strategic business thinking with the ability to build professional and long-term collaborative forms with the board, owners, external stakeholders, and the company's managers and employees. You see relationships as a driving force for development and innovation, and you lead change with clear direction, accountability, and result focus.
Your decisions and actions are characterized by courage and civic courage, and you dare to challenge when needed, while maintaining a strategic perspective and genuine drive to move the business forward.
You have personal maturity, which means you are secure in your value base. You are an unpretentious, caring, and inclusive person who practices what you preach. You easily create relationships and build trust while maintaining your integrity.
We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree or equivalent experience that the employer deems comparable. You have experience with strategic leadership in the housing or property sector, and it is meritorious if you have worked within or close to the public sector.

Järfällahus is a public housing company that owns and manages over 5,600 apartments, 480 commercial premises, and 4,600 parking spaces throughout Järfälla municipality. Over 130 employees work with us.
