Hyltebostäder is a housing foundation established in 1974 by Hylte Municipality with the mission to promote housing supply in the municipality. The company owns and manages approximately 530 residential units and commercial spaces totaling 5,300 m². In addition to housing operations, Hyltebostäder is responsible for district heating distribution to 278 connection points in Hyltebruk, Unnaryd, and Landeryd, as well as the management of the municipality's operational properties covering a total area of approximately 68,700 m².

The Role of CEO
Being the CEO of Hyltebostäder means taking on a multifaceted and community-oriented role with a strong focus on collaboration, leadership, and strategic development. You will lead an organization with approximately 25 employees and four subordinate managers, where your leadership is central to building a secure and stable operation.
The CEO is part of the municipality's management team and plays an important role in the best interests of Hylte Municipality – alongside other leaders working for the overall benefit of the community.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading and developing the organization in close collaboration with the board and the municipal group,
• Ensuring an appropriate property portfolio and planning for new construction, maintenance, and renovations,
• Contributing to the municipality's housing supply and development through both social and economic initiatives,
• Being responsible for finance, budgeting, procurement, and reporting to the board and municipal council,
• Leading and developing Hylte Municipality's district heating operations.
This role combines strategic work with everyday operational responsibility, and your ability to plan, prioritize, and collaborate will be crucial.
Your Profile
We are looking for a courageous, communicative, and unpretentious leader with the ability to create engagement and participation. You are driven by development, have a knack for building relationships, and see collaboration as the path to success.
We believe you have:
• A higher education degree, preferably in public administration, economics, marketing, or behavioral sciences, or other education deemed equivalent,
• Experience in leadership, preferably in politically governed operations,
• Knowledge of public utility and property management,
• A good understanding of finance, budgeting, public procurement, and board work.
• Experience leading within a municipal or corporate-like structure is an advantage.
