We operate for Västtrafik, Jönköpings Länstrafik, and are responsible for city traffic, regional traffic, and school transport in Uddevalla, Mellersta Bohuslän, Vetlanda, and Sävsjö.

About the Position
Uddevalla Omnibus operates traffic on behalf of regional transport companies in central and northern Bohuslän, Kalmar, and Jönköping counties. In the coming years, we face several exciting developmental steps – particularly related to future technologies and customer solutions. With long-term traffic agreements in place, this presents a golden opportunity for you as CEO to develop the company under stable conditions for the coming decade.
As CEO, you will have overall responsibility for leading and developing the group. The role encompasses both strategic and operational aspects, where you will drive business management, change initiatives, financial analysis, and business as well as process development. You will report to the company's board and lead the organization through six local site managers.
Your Main Responsibilities
• Lead and develop the business towards established goals
• Ensure sound financial management, planning, monitoring, and analysis
• Further develop our business processes and contribute to increased efficiency
• Be responsible for employer and workplace environment issues
• Represent the company internally and externally, including before the owner, Uddevalla Municipality
• Lead and coordinate procurement processes
• Build a strong and engaged management team

Qualifications
• Academic education in a relevant field
• Several years of experience as a manager or leader
• Experience in leading other managers
• Desirable: experience from transport, logistics, or other labor-intensive sectors
• Strong analytical skills and experience in financial monitoring
• Advantageous to have experience from public sector operations or procurement-driven business
