We are now seeking one of the most important functions for the Left Party's election campaign in Skaraborg; an election representative who, together with our regular representative, election management group, and district board, will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing the Left Party Skaraborg's 2026 election campaign. You will collaborate with other representatives and political secretaries at the Left Party Västra Götaland and Young Left, and with our 13 party associations in Skaraborg.
At the beginning of your assignment, you will work more strategically and plan-oriented, and later in the election campaign, work much more "hands-on". To thrive in the role, you need to be a good organizer and strategist, be self-driven, reliable, and have great initiative, while also being a team player who enjoys collaborating with others and understands the importance of anchoring decisions. You are good at motivating others and find it easy to talk to people. Since you will be a key person in the election campaign, you must be able to handle multiple processes simultaneously. You are flexible and creative.
You should sympathize with and have good knowledge of the Left Party. Experience from political assignments or engagement within the party or related organizations is meritorious and highly valued. Personal suitability is also heavily weighted.
Work Tasks
• Plan and organize activities in the Left Party's election campaign in Skaraborg, such as poster campaigns, door-knocking, town square days, debates, leaflet distribution.
• Motivate party association members to participate in activities and to plan and implement activities themselves.
• Personally participate in some of the activities.
• Digital communication on the Left Party Skaraborg's social media and website, and provide support to party associations in their digital communication.

Employment Conditions
Fixed-term employment for 6 months. Employment period is from April through September 2026. Possibility of a shorter extension may exist.
Full-time position, which means 37.5 hours/week.
Evening and weekend work is common.
The position has goal-oriented working hours, which means you as an employee have the opportunity to, in dialogue with the employer, arrange your working hours based on what suits you, as long as it works with the operations' requirements and needs.
Salary according to the salary scale for political secretary in the current collective agreement, which is the People's Movement Agreement signed between Fremia and the Commercial Employees' Union.
Wellness benefits such as wellness hours and wellness allowance are available.
Your work will be based at our office in Mariestad, but much work occurs while traveling around Skaraborg. You will have the opportunity to work from home to some extent, in dialogue with the employer.
You will be managed by the district board's executive committee.
