About Vallentuna Friskola
Vallentuna Friskola is an independent school for grades 6-9, founded in 2002, with approximately 250 students and over 30 employees.
At Vallentuna Friskola, we have high expectations for our students. Our well-educated and experienced teachers work to provide high-quality education in a safe learning environment. Our shared goal is for all students at Vallentuna Friskola to acquire solid knowledge, feel secure, and develop into active, creative, competent, and responsible individuals. We highly value good relationships with students, collaboration with parents, and are committed to helping each student reach their full potential.
Vallentuna Friskola offers a developing and exciting workplace where we collectively conduct systematic quality work. Since the 2021/2022 academic year, we have been implementing the Olweus Program, a series of coordinated, research-based measures aimed at creating a school environment where students can learn, thrive, and feel safe. In addition to ensuring safety, we also work systematically and collaboratively to maintain a good study environment.
We use Schoolsoft as our school platform, and each subject creates lesson plans and assignments in Google Classroom. All students have their own Chromebook.
Vallentuna Friskola is located at Lars Hårds Väg 20B, featuring large, spacious classrooms, specialized rooms, and an amazing schoolyard with proximity to forest hiking trails.
