Property Management Mora is part of Region Service Dalarna and primarily serves healthcare. We are responsible for operations, service, and external environment within the Mora Hospital area. Caretaker with Focus on External Maintenance - Property Management Mora
Job Responsibilities
As a caretaker with us, you will have a varied and seasonally adapted job where you help create a safe, well-maintained, and pleasant environment for both patients and staff.
During the growing season, you will primarily work maintaining the hospital's outdoor environment, ensuring it feels welcoming and well-cared for. This includes mowing grass, weeding, planting, keeping paths and visitor routes clean, and maintaining vegetation around the buildings.
During winter, the assignment shifts to winter work. This involves snow removal, anti-slip treatment, sand collection both manually and with machinery to keep roads, paths, and entrances safe and accessible. The work often involves operating wheel loaders and other machines, so experience is a clear advantage. Additionally, you may have simpler indoor maintenance tasks during parts of the year, such as changing light bulbs or fixing toilet issues. You will report and document your assignments digitally in our systems, contributing to structure, follow-up, and efficiency in daily work.
You will be part of the property management team at Mora Hospital and collaborate closely with service technicians, service staff, and other personnel to create a well-functioning whole.
Qualifications
Requirements
• Class B driver's license
• Valid C2 wheel loader certificate
• Good computer skills, especially in the Office suite
• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
Merits
• Education in gardening or equivalent experience
• Documented experience operating wheel loaders
• Chainsaw or clearing saw license
• Experience with simple maintenance and repair work
• Work in healthcare environments
• Experience with digital work order systems
