JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a caretaker, you will be responsible for the daily operations at Hällsboskolan in Umeå and its student residence. You will collaborate with other staff and report to the deputy unit manager of the School Operations Unit and the school principal. You have a key function in the unit and must be independent in your work and have a clear ability to prioritize with many tasks.
Your responsibilities include:
• Handling error reports and cases in the case management system
• Furnishing office, meeting, and training rooms
• Simple mounting and repairs
• Replacing consumable items
• Assisting with certain technical tasks
• Responsibility for solving basic hearing-related work tasks
• Mail and package handling/delivery notes
• Ordering consumable materials
• Some green area maintenance may occur
• Other tasks may arise
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
• At least two years of experience as a caretaker or equivalent experience
• High school diploma
• Excellent verbal communication in Swedish or Swedish Sign Language, and writing skills in Swedish and English
• Driving license class B
It is meritorious if you have:
• Education in property management or equivalent
• Experience performing simple repairs, mounting, and similar tasks
• Competence and drive in technical matters
• Experience with SPSM's target group
• Experience working with students with various disabilities in daily work
• Experience working in state operations
• Experience with case management systems
• Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent

As a person, you are unpretentious, service-oriented, and easy to collaborate and communicate with. You have great commitment to your work area and are driven, self-motivated, and have an eye for what needs to be done. You are structured and have good prioritization skills.

OTHER
Employment scope is 20%.
6-month probation period will be applied.
A criminal record extract must be presented before employment.
