Road Lighting Designer

As a lighting designer, you will work across the entire process, from idea to final execution. While our industry peers often specialize in either electrical consulting or lighting design, at Norconsult, we have integrated these skills, where lighting design and lighting project development go hand in hand. We collaborate with municipalities, the Swedish Transport Administration, companies, and road associations to design lighting for roads, streets, parks, tunnels, and sports facilities. We also investigate lighting and optimize it according to current demands, a process that includes both visualization and lighting calculations. The lighting expertise is part of our Technology Area for Lighting & Light Design. Our team currently consists of 8 individuals, supplemented by our colleagues from the electrical and installation department due to close collaboration. This position can be based in Gothenburg, Örebro, Kristianstad, or Malmö. **Your Profile** You have a university or college education with a focus on electrical engineering and at least three years of experience in lighting design. We expect you to be proficient in CAD and have experience with lighting calculation software such as Dialux or Relux, as well as electrical calculation programs like Elvis. A valid driving license (B) is necessary to perform in this role. You are a person who draws energy from others, adept at creating and maintaining good relationships with both clients and colleagues.
