About this role
Vafabmiljö is seeking an Operations Technician
Do you want to work in a varied and technically advanced role where you contribute to a greener future? We are currently looking for an operations technician for our biogas facility, part of our efforts to produce, liquefy, and distribute sustainable biogas. Here, you will be involved in driving the latest technology in the energy and environmental sector, in an operation that makes a difference every day.
We utilize the latest technology to upgrade, liquefy, and distribute biogas from our own and others' production facilities. In the Gas unit, engineers, operations technicians, maintenance technicians, machine operators, coordinators, automation technicians, and team leaders collaborate – together we drive sustainable solutions for the energy of the future.
About the Role
As an operations technician, you will play a central role in monitoring, controlling, and optimizing the operations of our facilities. The work includes both preventive and corrective maintenance, rounds, as well as troubleshooting and repairs as needed. You will actively contribute to continuous improvements of facilities and work processes and participate in various development and improvement projects.
The demand for biogas changes in line with new technology and society's green transition. In this role, you will be part of that journey, contribute to development, test new working methods, and grow with the organization in an environment where both technology and assignments are constantly evolving.
Most collaboration occurs with your immediate colleagues in the unit, but you will also work with transport, weighing, and recycling personnel, as well as external suppliers and customers.
The working hours are daytime, and on-call duty is included, approximately every fifth week, with a response time of 60 minutes.

You are communicative and collaborate well with colleagues, suppliers, and contractors. During periods of high workload, you remain calm, flexible, and can quickly adapt to new conditions.
As part of our team, you are expected to live and lead by our core values: Trustworthy, Caring, and Innovative (TON), and to share our commitment to a sustainable society. In this recruitment, great emphasis will be placed on personal abilities.
