Do you want to contribute to Sweden's defense? The Stockholm Amphibious Regiment is now seeking a conscript consultant to support conscript training at the garrison. The conscript consultant is part of the conscription detail at the regiment's staff. Approximately 600 conscripts are trained annually at Haninge Garrison.
Main Responsibilities
As a conscript consultant, you will work with personnel social issues related to our conscripts during basic training, focusing on their rights, obligations, and benefits. Your tasks will include informing and supporting the conscript in matters such as assistance and insurance issues, the Armed Forces' supplementary rehabilitation responsibilities, and serving as a point of contact for the conscript with entities such as the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, the Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency, municipalities, and regions. You will also provide conversational support to the conscript and work closely with the personnel of the Defense Health Services and the responsible training officer. If necessary, you will follow the conscripts in field conditions, which may involve work at different locations as well as evening and weekend duties.
The conscript consultant also supports the conscription officer and training officers in investigating cases and participates in review boards as needed.
As a conscript consultant, you will assist the organization with the selection and training of elected representatives among the conscripts.
Qualifications
• Academic degree in behavioral sciences, social work, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Class B driver's license.
Meritorious
• Work experience in supportive conversations.
• Experience working with youth, e.g., as a leisure leader, sports coach, or equivalent.
• Experience of military service in the Armed Forces.

You are attentive in your communication with others and possess good collaboration skills. Physical training is included as part of working hours.
Employment Type: Civil Permanent position with a 6-month probationary period.
Salary: Individual salary setting.
Employment Rate: Full-time. Work is conducted during daytime hours, but some weekend and evening duties as well as travel may occur.
