Your Responsibilities You will work in a team of two alongside another vocational teacher. Together, you will primarily be responsible for the Elderly Care Lift program. This is an important and meaningful position where you have the opportunity to make a real difference both for the students and for the quality of elderly care. The Elderly Care Lift is a government-funded project aimed at raising the competence and quality within elderly care. The project targets individuals already working in healthcare who wish to train as nursing assistants. You will teach adult students with diverse backgrounds and experiences, which places high demands on individual adaptation and pedagogical flexibility. A central part of the work is to make individual assessments of each student's prior knowledge and experiences. This means that parts of the training may be validated away, which in turn requires you to be confident in your professional role and have a good understanding of validation processes. Students progress at different rates and complete their studies at various times, which means that you as a teacher need to manage different courses simultaneously while also finding ways to create common teaching moments and lectures when possible. Your Profile We are looking for a licensed teacher with several years of teaching experience and extensive experience in healthcare and social services. You are pedagogical, confident in your professional role, and have the ability to adapt teaching to each individual's needs. You have a quality mindset, are driven, and are engaged in developing teaching based on the students' conditions. It is advantageous if you have a nursing license, experience in adult education, and knowledge of validation work, but the most important thing is that you are passionate about teaching adults and want to contribute to an important societal effort.
