Psychiatry Southwest is entirely located in Flemingsberg at Karolinska University Hospital Huddinge. Now we are entering a new era! Stockholm County Healthcare Area (SLSO) is launching Psychosis Care Stockholm – a newly formed organization that brings together all outpatient clinics and inpatient wards for patients with psychotic disorders within SLSO in a unified operation. We are seeking a Care Unit Manager for one of the clinic's outpatient clinics for psychotic disorders. The clinic is geographically located in Flemingsberg center, adjacent to Karolinska Hospital, Huddinge. The unit currently offers interventions and treatment based on national guidelines and knowledge support for psychosis patients, including: - Psychiatric assessment of psychotic symptoms - Medication treatment - Support and contact with case manager - Psychological treatment (CBT) - Family support and patient and relative education - Psycho-educational interventions to increase knowledge about psychosis - Medication reception for help and support regarding medications Job Responsibilities: As Care Unit Manager, you are expected to lead and organize work for the unit's employees. Together with the Medical Responsible Manager, you will work to achieve goals and ensure that guidelines and governing documents for treatment and assessment form the basis of the care offered. Your task will be to leverage employee competence and support development within the unit. You will also be responsible for work environment, patient safety, economy, and environmental and quality work, and are expected to communicate vision, goals, values, and results within the organization to enable employees to perform their work. Since the Psychosis Care Stockholm clinic is a newly formed organization, part of the work as Care Unit Manager will involve developing and implementing processes and routines and establishing functional collaborations with neighboring care providers, making collaboration a crucial part of the work. You are expected to collaborate with multiple competencies at different levels of the organization, and it is important that you identify with and believe that together we can offer the best psychiatric care for patients and create conditions to attract and nurture employees. This means you are expected to take responsibility for your part of the operation while also showing great drive and openness to collaboration. Employment Form: Permanent, full-time. You will be employed in your base profession and receive a time-limited appointment as Care Unit Manager. Qualifications: We are seeking someone with experience leading psychiatric care operations. You should have relevant education, which means a licensed healthcare profession or higher education in a healthcare profession. Knowledge of and interest in the specific patient groups' needs is highly meriting, as is interest in and experience with change management. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. Personal Qualities: We are looking for someone who is goal- and results-oriented with excellent collaboration skills and relationship-building abilities. You should have strategic capabilities, see the whole picture, and consider the broader perspective when making decisions, combined with a strong will to engage, lead, and develop employees.
