Our Offer
The Pulmonary Medicine Clinic at the University Hospital in Linköping is the competence center for pulmonary medicine in the Southeast Healthcare Region, providing diagnostics and treatment for diseases of the lungs, mediastinum, pleura, and bronchi. We care for patients from Östergötland, where some lung services are centralized, and we are also developing collaboration with other hospitals in the region. Certain highly specialized lung and diagnostic services are provided for the Southeast Healthcare Region.
The Pulmonary Medicine Clinic is an outpatient clinic with approximately 70 employees, working closely with the Cancer and Lung Care Unit, where patients in need of inpatient care are treated. As a healthcare administrator at the Pulmonary Medicine Clinic, you will handle dictations from both outpatient and inpatient care.
The outpatient services consist of several subspecialized units, such as the diagnostic unit that performs bronchoscopy, the lung oncology unit that provides treatment for lung cancer patients, and the specialist unit that treats patients with COPD and interstitial lung diseases. Research and development work is conducted within the organization with the assistance of research nurses and operational developers.

Job Description
We are seeking an engaged healthcare administrator for a varied position at the Pulmonary Medicine Clinic. Many of the staff in the secretariat are experienced and have worked at the clinic for a long time, contributing to well-documented and applied routines in daily operations. We hope this will provide you with security and ease your transition as a newcomer to the workplace. Some of our tasks include medical record documentation, referral management, mail handling, improvement projects at the clinic, and registration in various quality registers. As the organization continuously develops, you will have some opportunity to influence your work tasks. There is also the possibility to work from home part-time.
Work Group
Together, doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, healthcare administrators, physiotherapists, social workers, occupational therapists, and dietitians work side by side, always with the patient in focus. We are a workplace where all employees are equally important, respected, and enjoy working together. The Pulmonary Medicine Clinic has a management system that is ISO certified.
About You
We are looking for someone who is a trained healthcare administrator. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language and the ability to express yourself verbally and in writing. We prefer that you have experience with the medical record system Cosmic and a strong willingness to learn new things. Competence in the ITR and LBA areas is an advantage.
To thrive in your work tasks and within our team, you need to be positive and have a knack for collaboration. You are meticulous and structured, with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. You adapt easily to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes. We will place great emphasis on these personal qualities.
