About this role
Do you want to work as a healthcare administrator at Sweden's only clinic that treats cancer and other tumor diseases with proton therapy? With us, you will have a meaningful and varied job where you become an important part of our operations. Come and be one of us!
About the role
As a healthcare administrator, you are a central part of our operations. You are part of the care unit and together with our coordinators, you form the booking unit of the organization. You will collaborate daily with doctors, oncology nurses, and nursing assistants. You report to the head of the care unit.
Your main responsibilities involve medical record writing and diagnosis coding. You will independently handle all dictation management and administrative tasks such as referral processing, medical record scanning, and invoicing. You will also work closely with our coordinators and assist with staffing our booking phone.
You will also share responsibility for our national digital rounds, which you hold together with the coordinators 2–3 times a week. This provides you with a good insight into how the organization functions and develops.
As needed, you will assist our receptionists and support the work in the reception area.
You will have a varied and developing workday with significant personal responsibility—always with close support from competent colleagues. Through our flexible working hours agreement, you can influence your working hours, and when the operations allow, there is also the possibility to work remotely about one day a week.

You express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have knowledge of English. We would like you to have good experience with the medical record system Cosmic. About us
Skandion Clinic in Uppsala is the only clinic in Sweden that treats cancer and other tumor diseases with proton therapy. We have about 50 employees. Since our inception, we have applied the model of "distributed competence," which means that our operations, in addition to our permanent staff, are staffed by rotating personnel (doctors and hospital physicists) who alternate their service between their home clinic at the university hospital and Skandion Clinic.
The environment here differs from traditional healthcare settings. We have modern and fresh facilities where color and light work together to create a calm and safe atmosphere.
