The Role of Healthcare Administrator
When you come to work, you'll be at the Orthopedic Care Unit at the Orthopedic Clinic at Ryhov County Hospital in Jönköping. Your main tasks include medical documentation, diagnosis classification, patient booking and scheduling, other administrative duties, and some IT work such as user management in Cosmic. You will also participate in development projects at the unit.
The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date 2026-03-01 or by agreement. As a healthcare administrator, you have flexible working hours and work daytime on weekdays. On Fridays, you have shorter working hours until approximately 14:30, so with this job, the weekend can start early. Together, we coordinate work hours to make them as optimal as possible for everyone in the healthcare administrative unit.
Your Future Workplace
The Orthopedic Clinic at Ryhov County Hospital is Region Jönköping County's largest orthopedic clinic. We offer treatment, care, and rehabilitation for orthopedic diseases. The clinic is divided into general orthopedics, pediatric orthopedics (pediatric orthopedic center), and spine and neck surgery (neuro-orthopedic center). Approximately 150 people work at the clinic.
The Orthopedic Clinic has two care units. One unit treats patients with acute orthopedic injuries and diseases, including elderly patients with hip fractures and amputations. The other unit treats patients in connection with various planned operations in the musculoskeletal system, such as hip prosthesis, shoulder prosthesis, or other extremity surgeries. Patients who have undergone planned spine and neck surgery are also treated here.
Your Profile
You are a trained healthcare administrator/medical secretary, preferably with experience documenting in the Cosmic journal system. Good IT skills are meritorious.
As a person, you easily collaborate with others, are flexible, and can quickly reprioritize daily tasks. You are service-oriented and thorough in your work. We value a positive approach to both colleagues and work tasks.
You have excellent service-mindedness and a good approach to patients and colleagues. We are 16 people working as healthcare administrators at the clinic, and together we solve our shared mission in the best possible way.
The unit's strength is that we collaborate and support each other in daily work. You will become an important part of this, and therefore we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
