Job Opportunity: Specialized Psychiatrist We are seeking an engaged and innovative specialist physician in psychiatry who wants to be part of our multidisciplinary team at our clinic in Alvik. We are looking for the right person with a passion for providing high-quality care to our patients. Description As a specialist physician at our clinic, in addition to our core assignment of treating patients with depression and bipolar disorder, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with a range of different psychiatric conditions. (We treat all conditions except Bipolar 1 and psychosis.) Many conditions are complex, and the work involves numerous challenging and developmental issues. The clinic is well-staffed with 24 employees, including seven specialist physicians (including medical director), five nurses, six psychologists, one psychotherapist, one rehabilitation coordinator, one occupational therapist, and three medical secretaries. We have broad expertise in our physician group, with specialized competence in affective disorders and additional expertise in areas such as addiction and neuropsychiatry. The clinic has a very pleasant atmosphere, housed in beautiful premises with a large, wonderful lunch room that serves as the heart of the clinic. The clinic is located at Alviks Torg with excellent public transportation nearby, including subway, tram, and buses. Alvik also offers proximity to Lake Mälaren, a good selection of lunch restaurants, and other services. Our clinic is part of one of four sections within Northern Stockholm Psychiatry (NSP) and collaborates closely with one of several inpatient departments within the St. Göran Hospital area. Job Responsibilities The work consists of diagnostic assessments, treatment, and collaboration with various instances. This includes participating in treatment planning processes and providing advice to other team members. Teams work together to create the best possible treatment for the patient in accordance with evidence and national guidelines. The clinic works hard to create good interprofessional relationships with the patient in focus. Psychiatry continuously develops, and NSP always strives for modern and innovative working methods. Therefore, participation in the clinic's quality and development work is a matter of course for our employees. Qualifications You are a specialist physician in psychiatry and should have experience working in an outpatient environment. You have good communication skills and the ability to work in a team. You understand individual needs, are flexible, solution-focused, and attentive. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
