Job Description Want to make a difference? If you are not already a trained security guard, Securitas will fund your training before employment. We are currently seeking on-call security guards in Kristinehamn. The position primarily involves patrol duties but may also include other assignments such as stationary security depending on local needs. As a patrol guard, your main task is to deliver security to our customers – primarily at industries, offices, and workshops – by protecting property and buildings against fire, theft, and damage. Typically, you will manage alarm systems and report using a computerized patrol information system. The work is independent and often feels free, but with great responsibility. As a stationary guard, your main task is to deliver security to our customers by being attentive and ensuring everything is in order. Often you will work at the entrance of a larger company, checking people entering and exiting, but you may also perform patrols and camera monitoring. Work tasks vary from customer to customer. You work independently and under your own responsibility. As we are a smaller office, we have a great community and you will have an excellent chance to learn all aspects of the profession. These positions suit those who enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a guard at our Kristinehamn office, you'll become part of a tight-knit team of 15 people. Tasks are highly varied, and as a guard, you can work both indoors and outdoors. Work shifts vary but are often 12-hour shifts, primarily night work, though day shifts can also occur. As we operate every day of the year, working every other weekend is common. Over time, you will be trained as a protection guard as most of our operations require this. We are safety. Requirements Requirements • Approved grades in Swedish and English from first year of high school • B driver's license Preferred if you • Have previously worked in similar roles • Have civilian or military protection guard training The position will eventually be subject to security screening, so we prefer a clean criminal record. As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized, and can handle occasional high-pressure work environments. You are interested in technology and can easily understand instructions. We seek an independent person who trusts their own abilities, quickly understands problems, and solves them creatively.
